I’m here to support you.

I help nonprofit leaders thrive
personally and professionally.
When you’re at your best, your organization is too.

The most effective nonprofit leaders don’t go it alone.

You got into this work because you care deeply. But the depth of your commitment doesn’t make the hard conversations easier or the weight of leadership any lighter.

Most nonprofit leaders are carrying more than anyone around them realizes.

I’m here to give you the support you need to lead with confidence and achieve your goals.

You matter as much as the work.

Tracey Specter, PCC, MAPP, Life & Leadership Coach for Nonprofit Leaders & Professionals

Hi, I’m Tracey, a certified life and leadership coach.

I hold a Master’s in Applied Positive Psychology and I've spent more than 30 years working in and alongside the nonprofit sector—as a coach, a board member, and a board chair. I know this world from the inside.

I help you see yourself more clearly, navigate challenges, develop self-compassion, and make real progress on the goals that matter most. You'll build the kind of positive mindset that makes leadership feel more purposeful and sustainable.

So the work you care about gets your very best.

“Tracey is a highly skilled coach, making even challenging sessions uplifting. She helps you develop the mindset to flourish on your own terms, and her work stays with you long after your work together ends.

Her unique ability to weave life and executive coaching together helps leaders like me perform better and be better.”

HOW I HELP

1:1 Life & Leadership Coaching

Through one-on-one coaching grounded in positive psychology, I’ll help you understand your strengths and grow into the leader you want to be.

Working together, you’ll develop a stronger, more positive mindset that will make you more effective at work and more at ease in your life.

    • A new or expanded leadership role

    • A confidence gap you can feel, but can’t quite name

    • Challenges that cause stress

    • Imposter Syndrome

    • The pressure to do more with less, without burning out

    • A sense that you’ve lost sight of your own needs in service of everyone else’s

    • You have a clearer understanding of your strengths and how to use them to achieve your goals

    • You approach leadership with more confidence and less second-guessing

    • You’ve developed a more positive, growth-oriented mindset

    • You’re better equipped to navigate challenges and set healthy boundaries

    • You feel as good about yourself as you do about the work you've chosen

    • You leave with your own set of tools and strategies to help you navigate future challenges with confidence

Nonprofit leaders

Who I work with

I coach nonprofit leaders who are ready to invest in themselves — executive directors, C-suite leaders, emerging leaders, and board chairs.

Some are stepping into a new leadership role and want to hit the ground running. Others have been leading for years and are ready to grow into the next level of their leadership and impact. Many are simply carrying too much and want support from someone who understands this world.

The leaders who get the most out of this work are curious and committed. If that sounds like you, I'd love to work together.
